Death + Moxie is the brainchild of Angel Butts. Angel was born and raised in Scarborough, Maine, and now lives in Westbrook, where she is the proud mother of two middle-school children. She is an over-the-top Cure fan who loves organizing dance parties and social events for alternative subcultures.

 

With Death + Moxie, Angel combines her lifelong attraction to morbid imagery with an unexpected tongue-in-cheek wit, allowing her work to walk a unique line between darkness and whimsy.
