The Spider Widow was the crime-fighting alter ego of Dianne Grayton. She was created by Frank Borth, who swam against the tide of the time by writing a heroine who chose to transform into a hideous form rather than a shapely one. The Spider Widow was printed by Quality Comics as part of its Feature Comics series from 1942-43.
